This Year, We’re Thankful For: Senior Pets
Meet Louie and Chloe, two PCI pets who turned 13 this year. Senior pets need extra love — but these wise eyes and gray whiskers deserve all we can give. Join us in celebrating them this Senior Pet Month.
Meet Louie
✅ Old man
✅ Sweet baby boy
“My favorite part of living with my Frenchie is how deeply we understand each other. I know the meaning of every bark, lick, or paw tap, and he knows I’ll always be there for him.”
– Hillary, PCI SEO Specialist
Meet Chloe
✅ Golden girl
✅ Baby girl
“Chloe has taught me to appreciate the time we have together (forever, right? I’m in denial). Every head bunt, snuggle sesh, and slow blink is precious.”
– Julis, PCI Copywriter
Nearly half of PCI pet pros work with senior animals every day. Thank you for loving our silver-furred babies as much as we do.
Senior Pet Spotlight
Have a favorite senior client or an elder pet? Send us a photo and tell us your favorite thing about them!
They may be featured as Floof of the Month across our newsletter and socials (with a link to your biz!)
(P.S. Every photo = a little kiss for Louie or Chloe!)
Coming in November: Help with Aggressive Pets
Look for these PCI changes in November to help pet pros stay safe:
- Free customer agreement template. An extra, optional layer of protection for your business against injury and pet-on-pet accident lawsuits.
- PCI will start excluding coverage for known aggressive dogs. This is not by breed but by the individual dog — we don’t believe any dog is “naturally aggressive”.
Asking if dogs have a history of biting protects you physically and legally. If a client lies, it’s on them. But if you don’t ask, it could be on you. More advice on protecting yourself soon!
